Start your own home-based internet business

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Realise that you are one of the few who, rather than just thinking about doing it, ARE actually doing it!!

Now, you're wondering, well, go on then, what am I doing?
Rather than staying sat on your bum (fanny, or what ever bit of you that you sit on) whining and whingeing, you have decided to make a difference to your life.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

be aware that thousands of perfectly capable people in the world never get as far as this

their inner voice tells them its not possible for the likes of you

its too technical for a science failure like you

you won't be able to do it

you can't stick at anything till its finished

blah, blah, blah

Question: what do they know?

More importantly, what does that inner voice know, really?

Has it ever shut up long enough for you to prove to yourself that its wrong?
Has the lack of self-worth been lingering since school days?
Never been praised for just being you and achieving your best?

As irrelevant as it seems now as an adult, the beginnings of self belief and inner strength to push onwards and upwards can be snuffed out as we grow up...

'You'll never amount to much'; 'be lucky to achieve basic standards in this, that and the other...'

Hey , guess what. It matters not one jot what those narrow minded teachers thought as they enforced their straight-laced set of rules and regulations that seemed (and were) totally excessive.

Turning out social clones to fill the vacancies for jobs as shelf stackers, pump attendants and other menial, but neccesssary, low paid blue collar jobs.

Don't have ambition, thats for the clever ones, not for the likes of you. May never have been said outside of the staff room but you knew it was in their eyes. Almost pity as they turned their gaze towards golden girl/boy who could do no wrong or played the 'game' better than you.

That attitude is so outdated now in 2010 what with the internet and access to it by practically everyone, from pre-teens to lonelyhearts, middle aged to over sixties and well beyond.

This information empire is ours to own. To manipulate. To censor. To create. To influence.

No more do we have to stay in the match-box our place of birth either geographically or socially placed us into.

As the newer generations we do not accept what we are told by the powers that be, that this is how it should be and so maintain the status quo

More of us are educated, able to read and therefore to reason that not all that we are told 'has' by definition to be right and correct.

We question more and don't take things on face value perhaps like our predecessors did. Gone are the days of forelock pulling and head nods at 'the master' thank the heavens.

It's our lives to lead and we only get one chance at it.

This is no dress rehearsal so lets go
